Another launch on the mobile platform will be the Samsung's 'Bada' (a mobile operating system) for the samsung smartphones, in the month of December this year, and the Samsung Electronics has already officially announced now of its foray into the field, when an SDK (software development kit) is planned to be available then.


The "Bada" in Korean means "Ocean", and the term has been used to highlight its potential in carrying out different applications which can be created using the new platform. As Samsung is already one of the most popular electronics manufacturers, it throws more light on the company's commitment to a vast range of open platforms in the mobile industry. The Samsung's new platform is just an another step in alluring the mobile consumers that offers a genuine smart phone experience enriched with different desirable mobile applications, novel technologies and possibilities.

The Samsung Bada is thus an another challenge in the field of mobile industry, that will enhance the Samsung's mobile ecosystem enabling the developers to create more mobile phone applications for the rich experience to be enjoyed by the consumers.

The Samsung Bada is simply one of the most developer-friendly environments available, especially in the field of applications that use Web services. Thus, the 'Bada' offers an extremely stable platform for developers. In fact, the Bada's User Interface (UI) can also be transferred into an attractive UI design for developers and it looks simply sophisticated. With Samsung Bada, the users are actually able to thoroughly enjoy the various mobile contents.

According to Dr. Hosoo Lee, the Head of Media Solution Center at Samsung Electronics, the samsung mobile platforms provide rich mobile experiences on an increasing number of accessible smart phones. He added that Bada will surely be a landmark for Samsung, providing an iconic platform to its operators, developers and of course its world-wide mobile phone users.

An official launch event will be hosted by Samsung in December in London, UK, when the SDK too will be unveiled. The Samsung experts believe that the Bada-powered devices can become a significant force in the market in 2010.
